Security General Information

Keep your records up to date:
Please remember to stop by the Main Gate Security Center to update your records any time you experience a change in personal or vehicle information. This may include a change in phone number, a new vehicle or license plate, the addition of an emergency contact or change in the contact’s phone number, the addition of a family pet, additional long-term residents (family or renters)…etc.

Are you leaving temporarily?:
Please remember to stop by the Main Gate Security Center to fill out a “Vacant Premises” card if you departing for vacation, regardless of how many nights/weeks/months they will be away.

These cards allow Security to know the dates and length of vacation, where the resident can be reached in case of an emergency, and whether there will be any unusual traffic (construction work, part-time house sitting, timed lights….etc.) in the unoccupied home while the resident is away. This information can prove to be invaluable to the Security Department when responding to incidents in and around vacant residences!

Visitors:
Be sure to see our page on Gates and Visitor Information .

Golfers:
Also note that guests entering Hershey’s Mill to play golf at the Hershey’s Mill Golf Club will be asked to dial the Pro Shop by  pressing  *#9000 on the North or Main Gate Guest Phones, and the Pro Shop will be able to open the gate for the guest.

Remember … If you receive a phone call that you suspect is part of a scam, please be sure to report the call to the Westtown/East Goshen Police Department, as well as Hershey’s Mill Security.

Introduction to HMCTV

For most of Hershey’s Mill’s history this was Channel 20. Now that we have moved to Verizon FIOS, it is at channels 970 and 971. Channel 970 features our original programming, movies, and the TV bulletin board when the previous two are not being shown. Channel 971 shows only the TV bulletin board.
