Sneaker Drive
Did you know that 300 million pairs of shoes are discarded in the U.S. each year, with 95% ending up in landfills?
In celebration of Earth Day – April 22 – Hershey’s Mill is partnering with Westminster Presbyterian Church and Sneaker Impact to give old sneakers a new life.
From April 1 through to Saturday April 26, drop off your gently used or end-of-life sneakers. Let’s clean out our closets and reduce waste together—every pair kept out of a landfill is a step toward caring for creation! (Please note we are only able to collect sneakers, NOT shoes or boots).
The Sneaker Collection Bin is in the new Shade Pavilion* next to the Bocce Courts
Westminster is a PCUSA-certified Earth Care Congregation, we’re committed to action beyond just one day!
