Winter Solstice Happy HourJoin us down at the Native Plant Garden to celebrate the solstice (and the start of more daylight!). Dress warmly, bring your beverage of choice, a snack to share, and your chair. Don’t forget the marshmallows for roasting on the firepit! Note: This event may be canceled based on weather conditions. |

Bugs 101: Part 2Last year, John Lisowski, PA Master Naturalist, entertained us with an introduction to the most observed insects in our area. What about the rest? Part 2 promises to be equally informative and enjoyable as he brings some order to our understanding of these small but diverse neighbors or at least. |

Nest Box Monitoring KickoffYou’ve seen them, but did you know that there are over 100 nestboxes in Hershey’s Mill? Resident volunteers maintain and monitor these boxes—watching the broods of bluebirds, chickadees, and tree swallows as they grow and fledge. Come learn about results from 2025 and maybe volunteer for 2026. |
